The old town of Valence
Discover the cathedral, the famous people in the alleyways and the squares reminiscent of Provence. Valence is a city of art, history, water and commerce. The water tower
In 1962, the city of Valence decided to create a new district, the design of which was entrusted to architect André Gomis. The district consists of two parts separated by a large park, in the middle of which a water tower is planned. The design was entrusted to the Greek sculptor Philolaos..., who transformed water tanks into a contemporary work of art, a true symbol of the city of Valencia. (outdoor visit only).

The canals of Valence
Valence offers walkers the fresh tranquility of its canals, scattered throughout the city. A natural and ecological heritage unique in France, the canals have been with Valence since Roman times. Used for watering, feeding washhouses, then mills and sawmills, they run under the open sky for some 17 km. So many roads to enjoy in all seasons, in the changing colors of nature.

The grand Boulevards provide an opportunity to explore: Haussmann-style buildings and regulation architecture, changes in scale and perspective.
